1. The Text Reader does not work - does not appear cartoon character speaker on the desktop? When I attempt to use Text Reader, nothing happens (No Ms Agent character on my desktop).!

Possibilities: • Your security options for Microsoft Internet Explorer must be set to enable ActiveX controls and plug-ins. Check your Microsoft Internet Explorer security page. From any Microsoft Internet Explorer Window.... 2. Upon request from the cartoon character reading text, text appears in the text balloon but did not speak (lips do not move) not hear talk?

• Possibilities: --- 1 • SAPI 4.0 runtime is not installed. Solution: Download then install SAPI4 runtime. --- 2 • Text2Speech engine are not installed. ... Solution: Download then install the Text2Speech Engine (Lernout & Hauspie TruVoice).. --- 3 • The system wave sound is busy by another program. Solution: Verify that no other application is currently using the audio output device. Close All programmes which use sound system like songs and videos. --- 4 • Verify that your Microsoft® Agent© settings are enabled for spoken output using the following procedure: Right-click on the character and select Advanced Character Options from the pop-up menu. When the property sheet appears, select the Output page. Set the Play Spoken Audio option and click OK. - 5 • Requested by reading the text does not contain English characters.

3 . Upon request from the cartoon character reading text, text appears in the text balloons and the cartoon character speaks (the character lips are moving) but I don't hear voice?

• Verify that your speakers are plugged in and your sound card is compatible with Windows.   • Also check your system 'Volume Control' and ' wave balance' in the mixer settings.

4. Upon request from the cartoon character read the text, It did't do that?

• The Text Reader can't read large quantity of text. The cartoon character needs for a long time to start reading at the request of a large quantity of text. It is better to select the text and then press Read.

5. Can I change the speed of reading the text?

• Yes, you can - click on the icon or click the left mouse click on the image of the cartoon character and select Advanced Character Options.

6. Can I change the text balloon characteristics, especially the line and size?

• Yes, you can - This can be done through "Advanced Character Options" click on the icon or click the left mouse click on the image of the cartoon character and select "Advanced Character Options"
